To talk about Students & experience @ Tirupur school
Hope you would be aware of training held at Tirupur Govt middle school by MT. Manoj & MT. Saravanan, I would like to share my experience with you happened there. Though we had been called as speaker for the meet by GRD guys, the interaction with students, surroundings were awesome and made us think on it.
Especially I would I like to specifically highlight 4+1 student there.
2 children were mentally affected studying in 5th standard who was much cared by the staffs there (2 lady staffs), the other two was dumb (unable to speak) the two kids are girls who have a great passion & vision to live their life but they couldn’t express that made me cry there.
The other one fellow name madhan school drop out of 6th later after one year he joined the school into 8th standard he creativity can never be equivalent to any other authors/poets. His greatest strength and lovable thing is that he was able to write poets/songs instantly within few seconds. I & Manoj got admired with the things and especially the lines of a particular poem he wrote stimulated our inner minds to LEAD INDIA further extent.
To talk about school………..
It was a lower level school up to 5th standard in the year 2007(Appro) later it was upgraded to middle level school up to 8th standard in the same year by the school Head Master Venkatachalam who has 10yrs experience in the same school and 30+ yrs of teaching experience with 4 yrs less to retirement. To brief about him he has won the state level Dr. Radhakrishnan award for his excellence. Despite he is giving his 150% of his service to the school he is not satisfied with few things as mentioned below:
From 1st to 8th Standard the school strength is 278
2 lady staffs & 4 gents (Includes one Head Master)
Which is approximately in the ratio 1:47, the schools nearby are in the ratio 1:6, 1: 10, 2:7
Though many higher officials (Includes MLA, DRO, Mayor, Education ministers) have visited there and requested for the extra three staffs to be put in but not response from the Tirupur District.
Moreover since the staffs are less the academic sides are so dull couldn’t even cover up since staffs are called off for training by govt (for 10 – 18 days min in month how will that particular staff complete the syllabus? Then subjects can’t be taught only moral values can be done)
Guys kindly think of education here. There are 75 middle schools like this in that particular sub division if this is the case HOW ARE WE GOING TO LEAD INDIA?
Kindly follow up with this and help in education…
If not education is going to fish market.
Live example one of the colleges in Coimbatore is fighting for Unitary University. Think of the above mentioned school.
